1. Purpose

To explain how shipping claims are handled when parcels are lost or damaged.

2. Scope

Applies to all courier shipments dispatched by Scale 3PL.

3. Responsibilities

Client

  • notify Scale 3PL of missing or damaged shipments

  • submit courier claims

  • provide supporting documentation.

4. Procedure Steps

1. Issue Reported

Client reports a lost or damaged parcel.

2. Investigation

Shipment details are reviewed in Mintsoft.

3. Claim Submission

A claim is submitted to the courier by the client.

4. Courier Decision

The courier investigates and confirms compensation if applicable.

5. Client Update

Scale 3PL informs the client of the outcome.

5. Training Resources

Courier claim procedures are documented in the client support portal.
