1.Purpose

To explain how long it takes for incoming deliveries to be processed and when stock becomes available for order fulfilment.

2.Scope

Applies to all inbound deliveries sent to the Scale 3PL warehouse.

3.Responsibilities

Client

  • create an ASN in Mintsoft before sending stock

  • ensure deliveries include packing lists

  • ensure products already exist in Mintsoft.

Scale 3PL

  • receive deliveries

  • verify quantities

  • book stock into Mintsoft.

4. Procedure Steps

1. Delivery Arrival

Deliveries arrive at the warehouse goods-in area and are unloaded by warehouse staff.

2. Goods In Processing

Warehouse staff will:

  • check carton or pallet quantities

  • inspect for visible damage

  • book products into Mintsoft.

3. Stock Availability

Once goods are processed, inventory becomes available in Mintsoft and can be allocated to orders.

Typical processing times are:

  • Carton deliveries: usually within 24 hours

  • Pallet deliveries: usually within 24–48 hours.

4. Delays

Receiving may take longer if:

  • an ASN was not created

  • the delivery does not include a packing list

  • products have not been created in Mintsoft.
