How Orders Are Processed

1. Purpose

To explain how customer orders move through the Scale 3PL warehouse.

2. Scope

Applies to all orders received through connected sales channels.

3. Responsibilities

Client

  • ensure products and stock levels are accurate

  • monitor orders through Mintsoft.

Scale 3PL

  • pick, pack and ship orders

  • provide tracking information.

4. Procedure Steps

1. Order Import

Orders from connected stores automatically import into Mintsoft.

2. Order Allocation

Orders are assigned to the warehouse for picking.

3. Picking

Warehouse staff collect the required products from storage locations.

4. Packing

Orders are packed using appropriate packaging.

Shipping labels are generated through Mintsoft.

5. Dispatch

Parcels are handed to the courier during daily collections.

6. Tracking

Tracking numbers are automatically returned to the sales channel.

6. Additional Controls

Orders with stock shortages or system errors may be placed on hold until resolved.
