1. Purpose

To explain how Scale 3PL invoices clients and the payment terms for fulfilment services.

2. Scope

Applies to all clients using Scale 3PL warehousing, fulfilment and logistics services.

3. Responsibilities

Client

  • ensure payment details are provided during onboarding

  • review invoices for accuracy

  • ensure funds are available for payment.

Scale 3PL

  • issue invoices for services provided

  • provide a breakdown of charges

  • collect payment according to the agreed payment terms.

4. Procedure Steps

1. Invoice Frequency

Scale 3PL invoices clients weekly for services provided during the previous billing period.

Invoices may include charges for:

  • storage

  • pick and pack services

  • rework or contract packing

  • courier services

  • packaging materials

  • additional operational services.

2. Invoice Breakdown

Invoices include a detailed breakdown of charges so clients can understand how costs were calculated.

Typical line items include:

  • order fulfilment charges

  • storage charges

  • courier costs

  • additional handling services.

3. Payment Terms

Invoices are issued with 14 day payment terms.

Payment is normally collected 14 days after the invoice date via direct debit.

Clients must ensure sufficient funds are available in the nominated bank account.

4. Payment Method

Payment is collected using the direct debit details provided during onboarding.

Clients must complete the direct debit form during the onboarding process.

5. Invoice Queries

If a client believes an invoice contains an error, they should contact the support team with the invoice number and details of the query.
