1. Purpose

To explain how clients manage user access to their Mintsoft account.

2. Scope

Applies to all clients using the Mintsoft system to manage orders and inventory.

3. Responsibilities

Client

  • manage their Mintsoft user accounts

  • ensure only authorised staff have access to the system.

Scale 3PL

  • create the initial client account

  • provide login details during onboarding.

4. Procedure Steps

1. Initial Account Access

When onboarding is completed, the client receives access to their Mintsoft account.

This provides visibility of:

  • inventory

  • orders

  • shipments

  • returns.

2. Creating Additional Users

Clients can create additional user accounts for staff who need system access.

This allows teams to:

  • monitor orders

  • review inventory

  • manage shipping settings.

3. Managing Permissions

User permissions can be adjusted to control access to different system functions.

This ensures only authorised staff can modify important settings.

4. Security Best Practice

Clients should:

  • keep login details secure

  • remove access for staff who leave the business

  • regularly review user permissions.
