New Client Onboarding Process

1. Purpose

To explain the onboarding steps required for a new client to begin using Scale 3PL fulfilment services.

2. Scope

Applies to all new clients setting up fulfilment with Scale 3PL.

3. Responsibilities

Client

  • provide company and brand information

  • review and accept Terms and Conditions

  • upload product information

  • provide payment details.

Scale 3PL

  • configure the client account

  • upload product information into Mintsoft

  • prepare the warehouse for receiving stock.

4. Procedure Steps

1. Provide Brand and Company Information

Clients must submit their company and brand details.

This includes information about:

  • the business

  • contact information

  • sales channels used.

Clients should also review the Scale 3PL working relationship pledge which outlines how both companies collaborate as fulfilment partners.

2. Integrate Your Webshop

Clients should connect their webshop to the Scale 3PL system using the Mintsoft integration guide.

Scale 3PL supports integration with many ecommerce platforms and marketplaces.

3. Review Terms and Conditions

Clients must download and review the Scale 3PL Terms and Conditions.

These explain:

  • pricing structure

  • service terms

  • operational responsibilities.

Clients should ensure they understand the terms before proceeding.

4. Upload Product Information

Clients must complete the product upload template so Scale 3PL can configure the products in the warehouse system.

Products should include:

  • SKU

  • product name

  • barcode if available

  • weight and dimensions.

Product codes must match the codes used in the client’s webshop.

5. Set Up Direct Debit

Clients must provide bank details so Scale 3PL can collect payment for invoices.

Payments are collected via direct debit after the invoice due date.

6. Submit Onboarding Documents

Once all forms are completed, the documents should be emailed to the Scale 3PL team.

After submission:

  • the account will be configured

  • products will be uploaded

  • the warehouse will be ready to receive stock.

Clients can then begin sending inventory and processing orders.

5. Additional Controls

Clients should regularly check the Scale 3PL operational updates page for service announcements and operational changes.
