Order Amendments and Cancellation Policy

1. Purpose

To explain how order changes or cancellations are handled once an order enters the warehouse fulfilment process.

2. Scope

Applies to all orders processed by Scale 3PL.

3. Responsibilities

Client

  • ensure order details are correct before submission

  • request amendments as early as possible.

Scale 3PL

  • attempt to update orders before picking begins.

4. Procedure Steps

1. Order Import

Orders automatically import into Mintsoft from connected sales channels.

2. Amendment Window

Orders can normally be amended before they enter the picking stage.

Possible amendments include:

  • address corrections

  • order cancellation

  • product changes.

3. Picking Stage

Once an order has entered the picking process it may not be possible to amend or cancel it.

4. Packed Orders

Orders that have been packed may still be cancelled if they have not yet been dispatched.

Additional handling may be required.

5. Dispatched Orders

Orders that have been shipped cannot be cancelled.

The customer must follow the standard returns process.
