1. Purpose

To explain how customer returns are handled.

2. Scope

Applies to all returned goods received at the warehouse.

3. Responsibilities

Client

  • provide return instructions

  • decide how returned stock should be handled.

Scale 3PL

  • receive returned items

  • inspect goods

  • update Mintsoft.

4. Procedure Steps

1. Return Arrival

Returned parcels arrive at the warehouse.

2. Inspection

Warehouse staff inspect returned items for condition.

3. System Update

The return is recorded in Mintsoft.

4. Stock Handling

Returned products may be:

  • returned to stock

  • quarantined

  • disposed of.

The action depends on client instructions.

5. Training Resources

Return management instructions are available in the client support portal.
