1.Purpose
To explain how to request, schedule, and run a rework or kit build at Scale 3PL so work is completed on time and linked to the correct Mintsoft order.
2.Scope
Applies to any activity that requires manual handling before goods can be shipped to customers, including:

relabelling
-
re-boxing
-
bundle building
-
kit building
-
other rework activities.
3.Responsibilities
Client
-
Requests the kit build and provides clear instructions to support@scale3pl.co.uk for the uk or supporteu@scale3pl.co.uk for EU

Creates the required sales order in Mintsoft when the date is confirmed.

Uploads any labels or documents needed for the work.

Ensures all required stock is on site before the agreed deadline.
Office Team
-
Confirms booking date and schedules warehouse time.
-
Links the kit build to the correct Mintsoft sales order reference.
Warehouse Team
-
Completes the kit build or rework as scheduled
-
Uses the provided labels and paperwork attached to the sales order.
4.Procedure Steps
1. Book the kit build
Book the kit build with your Account Manager.
The typical lead time is around 10 days from first contact.
2. Create the sales order in Mintsoft (after confirmation)
Once your Account Manager confirms the kit building date, place the order on Mintsoft if its for an particular order. If its just a general kit build it does not need to added to Mintsoft
3. Attach labels and paperwork
Attach any required PDF labels or documents to the Mintsoft sales order.
4. Send the Mintsoft order reference to your Account Manager
Send the order reference number to your Account Manager so the kit build is linked back to the correct sales order.
5. Ensure all required items are in the warehouse on time
All items needed for the kit build must be received at least 24 hours before the kit build date.
If not all items are received by this deadline, the kit build will be delayed by a further 10 days.
5.Additional Controls

Do not create the Mintsoft order until the kit build date is confirmed, so it can be scheduled correctly.

Always attach the final label files and paperwork to the Mintsoft sales order to avoid rework delays.
