Stock Removal Requests

1. Purpose

To explain how clients request the return or removal of inventory from the warehouse.

2. Scope

Applies to all inventory stored at Scale 3PL.

3. Responsibilities

Client

  • request stock removal

  • provide collection instructions.

Scale 3PL

  • prepare stock for collection

  • arrange shipment if required.

4. Procedure Steps

1. Submit Removal Request

Clients should email the support team requesting stock removal.

Include:

  • SKU

  • quantity

  • preferred removal method.

2. Warehouse Preparation

Warehouse staff will:

  • locate the requested stock

  • prepare cartons or pallets.

3. Collection or Shipping

Stock may be:

  • collected by a courier arranged by the client

  • shipped using a courier arranged by Scale 3PL.

4. System Update

Stock removed from the warehouse will be deducted from Mintsoft inventory.
