1. Purpose
This policy outlines the storage conditions available at Scale 3PL warehouses and clarifies the requirements for customers sending goods to our facilities.
Scale 3PL provides ambient warehousing only and does not operate temperature-controlled storage.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all customers storing goods with Scale 3PL and to all products received into our warehouse facilities.
3. Warehouse Storage Conditions
Scale 3PL warehouses operate under standard ambient storage conditions suitable for most general consumer goods.
Scale 3PL does not provide:

Refrigerated storage
-
Frozen storage
-
Temperature-controlled environments
-
Climate-controlled storage
-
Humidity-controlled storage
Warehouse temperatures may naturally fluctuate due to seasonal weather conditions and building ventilation.
4. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must ensure that all products sent to Scale 3PL are suitable for storage in ambient warehouse conditions.
Customers must not send goods that require:

refrigeration
-
freezing
-
temperature-controlled storage
-
humidity-controlled storage
Examples of goods that may not be suitable include (but are not limited to):
-
perishable food products requiring refrigeration
-
frozen goods
-
pharmaceuticals requiring controlled temperature storage
-
temperature-sensitive chemicals or materials
If such goods are delivered to our warehouse, Scale 3PL reserves the right to refuse delivery, return the goods, or arrange disposal at the customer’s expense.
5. Product Disclosure
Customers must provide accurate product information during onboarding and when introducing new SKUs.
If a product has specific storage requirements, this must be disclosed to Scale 3PL in advance so that suitability can be assessed.
6. Compliance
Failure to comply with this policy may result in:

refusal of goods upon delivery
-
suspension of storage for certain products
-
return of goods to the sender at the customer’s cost
7. Policy Review
This policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure it continues to reflect the storage capabilities and operational procedures of Scale 3PL warehouses.
